PRYOR - THE DEATH OF MR. Richard John Pryor, age 73 years, of Bradwell, Saskatchewan occurred in a local hospital on Monday, July 25th, 1966. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 2:00 p.m. from Bradwell United Church, conducted by Rev. Benson Summers. Saskatoon Funeral Home will be in charge. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated in lieu of flowers. Surviving are: his wife, Alice, five sons Donald of Calgary, Alberta, Gordon of Birnie, Manitoba, David of Saskatoon, Joe and Ernest of Bradwell; two daughters, Mrs. Ken Martindale (Joyce) of Tessier and Mrs. Douglas Buck (Gladys) of Dundurn; 10 grandchildren; four brothers, William of Dundurn, Alfred of Saskatoon, Henry and Cyril of Bradwell. Mr. Pryor was born in Ishpemming, Michigan. With his parents he came to the Bradwell district in 1903. He had been a resident in the area for the past 63 years. Mr. Pryor was on the board of directors of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and the Saskatchewan Co-operative Association. He took an interest in all community affairs and was an active member of the Bradwell United Church. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens."

The death took place suddenly in a local hospital this morning of Queenie Ellinor, wife of R.J. Pryor of the Bradwell District. She had lived in the district 17 years, and is survived by her husband and two children, Frederick and Gordon. Services will be held at Bradwell United Church Saturday at 2 o'clock standard time and is Bradwell cemetery, the Saskatoon Funeral Home being in charge."
