An attractive wedding was celebrated at All Saints Church yestrerday by the vicar, the Rev. Staples Hamilton, when Mr W.J. Benyon, eldest son of Mr. J.S. Benyon, several times Mayor of Kumara, was united to Miss A.M. Martyn, third daughter of that well known West Coaster, Mr Thomas Martyn of Blue Spur. The bride, who looked very charming, had, as bridesmaids, her sister, Miss J. Martyn and Miss Benyon (sister of the bridegroom). Mr. Benyon was attended by his brother, Mr S. Benyon and Mr Roberts. After the conclusion of the seremoney the wedding party were driven to the Blue Spur where they were sumptuously entertained by Mr and Mrs Martyn."
